This Privacy Policy explains how Geo Camera (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use our Android app. By using the app, you agree to the practices described here.
02 · Information we collect
We do not require you to create an account. Depending on how you use the app, the following information may be processed on your device:
Photos and videos you capture in the app, stored locally (and optionally in your gallery album Geo Camera).
Location data (coordinates, altitude, accuracy, heading) used to stamp captures.
Address, Plus Code, and map thumbnails derived from location.
Date and time, and optional sensor readings (compass, level, pressure) for the stamp overlay.
App settings (template, camera grid/level, Pro unlock flag) stored on the device.
Optional Google account access if you turn on Google Drive backup.
03 · How we use information
We use information only to provide Geo Camera:
Stamp photos and videos with location, address, map, and time.
Save captures on your device and in the Geo Camera gallery album.
Show captures on the in-app map and in Preview / My Files.
Upload new captures to a Geo Camera folder in your Google Drive if you enable that option.
Process a one-time Pro purchase through Google Play Billing.
Show ads to free users through Google AdMob (Pro removes ads).
Send feedback email you compose, including any screenshot you attach.
04 · Camera and microphone
The camera is used only to capture photos and videos you take in the app. The microphone is used only when you record video. We do not access the camera or microphone in the background.
05 · Location
Location is used to stamp coordinates, address, Plus Code, and map thumbnails onto your captures, and to place them on the in-app map. Location is not sold and is not used for advertising.
06 · Maps and address lookup
Map thumbnails and the in-app map load publicly available map tiles (for example OpenStreetMap and Esri imagery). Reverse-geocoding turns coordinates into an address. Those third-party services may receive coordinates needed to return tiles or an address, under their own policies.
07 · Google Drive (optional)
Drive access is optional. If you enable it, the app uses the drive.file scope to create a Geo Camera folder and upload or delete files this app created. We do not read your other Drive files. Only new captures after you enable Drive are uploaded. Deleting a local capture also deletes the Drive copy when Drive is connected.
08 · Purchases
Geo Camera Pro is a one-time Google Play purchase. Google Play processes payment. The app only stores whether Pro is unlocked on this device. We do not receive your full payment card details.
09 · Advertising
The free version of Geo Camera shows ads using Google AdMob (and may use mediation partners). Ads may use advertising identifiers and device/app information provided by the Google Mobile Ads SDK to deliver and measure ads. Pro users do not see ads.
Ad formats may include banner, interstitial, and rewarded video.
Location used for photo stamps is not sold for advertising.
Captures, stamp data, and settings are stored on your device. Clearing app data or uninstalling the app removes local app files. Photos you saved to the device gallery remain in the gallery until you delete them there. Drive copies remain in your Drive until deleted (by the app when you delete a local file while connected, or by you in Drive).

13 · Children’s privacy
Geo Camera is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it where applicable.
